1st & 2nd Grades-Children 6 or 7 Years Old by September 1

Bible Explorers uses Gospel Light curriculum. The learn about God’s big picture by studying major Bible stories throughout the Old and New Testaments. The second graders begin the year with an in-depth study of the Lord’s Prayer—one of the Faith Marker events. After this, they focus their study on the Fruits of the Spirit displayed by various characters in the Bible. For more information, contact Sherry Ngui.

• You are encouraged to have your child at one or more of the Sunday School times, 8:30-9:30 or 9:30-10:45. There are children’s choirs from 11:30 – 12:15.

• Bible Explorers are also encouraged to participate in worship services with their parents and are dismissed to Sunday School from the 8:30 service and are dismissed to children’s choirs at 11:30.
• Children coming at 9:30 should go directly to their Sunday School classes.

3rd and 4th Grades

Route 34 begins an exciting journey by examining various people in the Bible. They spend six weeks on each unit. During their study, they pray and read the scripture, discussing what happened and how the particular scripture applies to their lives. They may play a game or act out a drama. There are ongoing projects for each unit; for example, when they study the Tabernacle, each class builds a furnishing that was part of the Tabernacle.
