Preschool children are moving and growing. They are ready for simple activities and stories that will help them to know who Jesus is. Play is an important part of a preschoolers work and so opportunity for playing with others is an important part of the church experience for children as well. By being in a nurturing environment at church, preschool children learn that the church is a good family in which to belong. Consistent participation in Sunday school will help the preschooler to feel at home and come to enjoy the church family.

The preschool rooms are located in the educational wing just north of the worship building. At the welcome counter your children can be signed in and placed in a class determined by their ages. Various purposeful playtime activities are planned. We suggest that you choose to pick a service that you will bring your child to consistently. This will enable your preschooler to get to know a specific team of teachers and other children and, as a result, feel a bit more secure. All services have both purposeful play time and some Bible instruction.

Please drop off and pick up your child within 10 minutes of these start and end times: 8:00- 9:30, 9:3-11:00, and 11:00-12:15. This will help us to keep distractions to a minimum. You may allow your child to stay for as many consecutive sessions as you wish.

Friday mornings during the Women’s Bible Study, 3-year-olds may enroll in the LAMBS program and 2-year-olds are cared for in the nursery department.
