Serve Welcome Ministry
The Welcome Ministry facilitates the introduction of visitors to the church and helps create a sense of community. The ministry assists in connecting visitors and members to the various ministries. If you enjoy interacting with people, serving others, and welcoming visitors, consider joining one of the Welcome ministries. For the most part, the commitment is once per month and, as with all ministries, consistency and reliability are essential.
Parking Ministry
The Parking Ministry is a unique and special way of serving and is often the first ministry encountered by visitors to Eastbrook Church. Parking Managers welcome and assist people in parking their cars, functioning in a sense, as “parking ushers.” As such, they set the tone for people entering the Worship Hall. Parking Managers serve once a month. For more information, contact Curt Laetz at 414.550.1862.
Ushers
Ushers are Eastbrook Church members who greet people as they enter the auditorium, distribute bulletins, coordinate seating, hand out visitor’s brochures, and take the offering. Ushers play a vital role in making visitors feel welcomed to Eastbrook Church. For more information, contact Danny Clayton at .
Holy Grounds Café
Holy Grounds Café is the site of a former tavern that was renovated and re-purposed as a Christian coffee house and meeting place. Staffed by volunteers, it is open Sunday through Friday (6:30am to 1:00pm) and serves quality coffees, teas, specialty drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Friday evenings feature live entertainment. Holy Grounds provides barista training on a rotating basis. For more information, contact Vera Wolf.
Welcome Desk
The Welcome Desk is a place for visitors and members to get information about the church and activities. It is located between the Worship Hall and Education building and is staffed by two members during the entire morning of Sunday services. General knowledge about Eastbrook Church, activities, and staff is required. For more information, contact Vera Wolf.
